Very nice hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. I wish it had a better gym but there are nice gyms in the area to go to. The WiFi was very slow but that seems to be the case all over Beirut.

This was a great high-end boutique hotel that has a small but cute rooftop pool and terrace great for grabbing a quick drink. We had an issue with the room, but hotel management quickly fixed the issue and was resolved in a positive manner. Location is near downtown, but you will need a taxi or be okay with at least a 10-minute walk to the shopping area.

Great location within walking distance of great restaurants very close and 15 mins to downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff on front desk. Generous breakfast included. Would definitely recommend. Only down side pool very small, jackuzzi size and just 3 sun beds. But lovely roof for sundowner cocktails with views across city and to sea.

First of all, it is definitely not 5 star hotel. I would give it good 3 star. Positives: Very pleasant staff, comfortable bed. We arrived late evening, then went to upstairs restaurant which was empty and only owners with their friends were having their dinner there. Food was just ok. Owner of that hotel came up to us and had a conversation about hotel and how we should not book anywhere else and etc. I had executive room, by the time we got back from their restaurant it was stinking with toilet smell (drainage) so badly! But we were tired and sleepy. In the morning I woke up to the worst view! It’s horrible! Room is looking at some building and roofs of distroyed buildings! Tried to have a bath - bath is not working, went to have shower - and it’s literally so smal, my husband almost could not fit in there! And this shower is also leaking and flooded all the bathroom floor. I do not recommend this hotel, especially for such price. There are definitely better options in Beirut in that segment of hotels.

We had a great stay, the location and service are amazing. The staff was very helpful. The only negative thing was the fact that the windows opened onto some service area. So you dont get any natural daylight.

Great Hotel. New and celan. Friendly service. Great breakfast. Only two things. Bathroom floor a little slipery and the view Of my room. (There any) but other Than that i would recomend this place. Over all good experience!!

Amazing stay at O Monot. The location was fantastic and easy to walk to downtown! Staff were very friendly! Only negative thing is there was no iron available.

This hotel is only 10 minutes away from Downtown Beirut and you can get pretty much anywhere on foot. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the rooftop pool is perfect to enjoy an afternoon of sun or an after-dinner drink. Service is excellent - the staff is extremely helpful. They arranged a day trip to Byblos for us and tried to accommodate all our requests. A big thank you to all the reception staff because they made us feel welcome and at home. We will most definitely choose O Monot again should we visit Beirut in the future.

O Monot is wonderfully located within walking distance to many of Beiruts sights. Achrafieh, Gemmayzeh, Saifi, Martyrs Square and Downtown are all relatively easy strolls. O Monot is clean, modern and staffed by some of the most helpful people Ive met in any hotel.

Modernes und sauberes 5-Sterne-Hotel in zentraler Lage, mit echt coolem Rooftop mit angenehmen Wind in einer sonst ziemlich stickigen und heiss-feuchten Stadt. Das Hotelpersonal war äusserst professionell und in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit. Wir durften sogar später auschecken. Das einzige, was uns ein Dorn im Auge war, war die Strasse, an der das Hotel liegt. Wenn man aus dem Hotel geht, dann sieht man eine total stinkige und verdreckte Seitenstrasse, mit herumliegendem Abfall und nicht begehbarem Gehsteig. Das hat das Hotel absolut nicht verdient. Ansonsten alles gut!

Hotel is amazing, small and intimate. The staff are really friendly and give a you a more personal touch, very helpful to tell you where to go and what to do. Great service for breakfast and the room on the 10th is beautifully decorated and cozy. Sadly the pool wasnt in service but it wasnt an issue for us. Would recommend staying here no problem. Rooms are very modern and have everything you could ever need.

This hotel looks nice and the staff are pleasant but not much help (they couldnt help with the sewage smell, where in the whole of Beirut to get shoes repaired or help us with our high/quiet floor request).If you want to iron some clothes they are not able to provide an iron or ironing board and you would have to pay (~£6) for cleaning a shirt.The hotel is quite noisy, both from other rooms (not good sound insulation) and from road noise from the 2 major roads intersections just outside (hence we wanted a high floor). We asked for a high floor prior to check in but this wasnt given, the hotel was busy but during room allocation our request wasnt taken on - not everyone could have pre-booked or requested their room surely!The shower leaked over the floor no matter how careful or tight you pulled the doors and if you lifted the covers on the drainage points on the floor so your feet didnt get continually wet you got a heightened chance of sewage smell. A few times the sewage smell in the hotel, particularly in reception and the lower floors was nauseating.The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean. The roof pool area was pleasant but we cant recommend staying here.

The room was a fairly standard hotel room, but the facilities, the pool and what-not, were excellent. My daughter loved it. The free breakfast was the best free breakfast Ive ever had. Biscuts & Gravy, Eggs, Sausage, Muffins and all the other. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay there again.

O Monot is just about perfect in all aspects. It‘s big enough to blend in, yet small to get the feeling of cozyness and personal attention. Rooms are tastefully decorated with beds that fasttrack you to dreamland. Clean and neat everywhere, impeccable condition.On the rooftop terrace you can relax in the lounge sipping a glass of local grape and enjoy a stunning view of the city. The pool is too small for a serious workout but ideal for a morning dip.Staff is great. Personal touch, friendly and committed, jumping out of the chair to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their front office manager is a true fixer with knowledge far beyond the borders of the city.Locationwise also good, albeit busy with some traffic noise. In one direction the rather polished downtown and the modern souks, the other way Gemmayzeh, a quirky neighbourhood with a lovely messy mix of commercial and residential. Whatever you prefer. Also, just two blocks away you find a couple of falafel outlets for the lunch or late night crave, one of them world famous Falafel Sahyoun.To alternate between the rooftop bar and the watering holes further up Monot street is a highly recommended activity.O Monot is almost like a sanctuary in bustling and busy Beirut, where you come to peace and charge your batteries for another demanding day in this exciting city.

Very nice and polite staff, good location and easy access to highway. Rooms good to fair. Hotel amenities also good. Overall good experience especially if have children. As a romantic getaway for something that will impress, falls short of that.

This hotel promised a lot and delivered very little. the staff were not helpful or very friendly. i was promised early check in and did not get it. i couldnt even check in until 4:00 on the nose. then, the cleaning crew was still in my room when i got up there with my bedraggled weary children and luggage in tow. we waited in the hall while they cleaned the room. the room looked okay, but the bathroom was disgusting on further examination. there was black mold/scum around all of the fixtures and hideous black, sticky scum under the bathmat...which my 5 year old pointed out while bathing! ack! the pool is small but fun due to the slide. the hotel is incredibly noisy and smells of chlorine overwhelmingly. the breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, but is adequate. i definitely do not think this hotel is worth what they charge and needs to have much higher standards of cleanliness in the bathrooms.

Sehr schöne Zimmer und ruhig obwohl neben der Hauptstrasse. Nahe zum Zentrum und vielen Lokalen in der Gegend. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder dort absteigen.

This hotel experience went above and beyond my wildest expectations. Fantastic service, excellent food, exciting pool activities for my kids-- including a 3 story slide!! I will most definitely be staying here again and again.

The rooftop is to die for and the location makes it walking distance to everything. Its near a major road but with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute walk. The hotel is pretty new and is very comfortable.

It seems like the locals purchase a single room and then invite their 20 friends over for a swim. There were so many people in the water and no such thing as a relaxing hot tub visit. Kids, kids, and more kids.Great for local kids to play in the water and cool water slide. The water was questionable to enter. (how could it not be) Not for us, but any 7-15 year old would love it.

Really nice hotel however I think offering rooms just next to horrible construction noise is not right. The rooms ending with 05 face a new building site and drilling and knocking starts at 730 am. Second day I was changed to a new quieter room.

Wir hatten unser Wochenende in Beirut mit ein wenig Skepsis gebucht. Uns hatte dies Stadt fasziniert, wir wollten sie kennen lernen. Das O Monot Hotel hat uns hier auf Grund seines Styles sehr überzeugt, ebenso die Dachterrasse. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und persönlich vom Empfangspersonal auf das Zimmer gebracht. Dieses war groß, geräumig und komfortabel. Das I-Tüpfelchen war eine handgeschriebene (!) Nachricht, dass man sich freut, uns begrüßen zu dürfen, inkl. kleinem Teller mit sechs kleinen, sehr delikaten Kuchen/Keksen. Sehr persönlich, sehr herzlich und sehr außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet mit rd. 20 USD ist zwar nicht sehr günstig, aber durchaus sein Geld wert. Vor allem der Ausblick aus dem Restaurant lässt mind. ein Frühstück dort empfehlen. Alles wird individuell zubereitet (Eierspeisen, Kaffee etc.). Und der Service ist sehr charmant und aufmerksam. Wir haben das auch abends getestet - bei einem Wein und Cocktail. Sehr schön. Auch die Empfehlung von den Mitarbeitern der Rezeption bzgl. Ausflügen und Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr gut. Unser Tagestrip nach Biblos, Harissa und zu den Jeita Grotten wurde super organisiert. Die Bezahlung wurde einfach über die Hotelrechnung geregelt. Und der Trip hatte sich gelohnt. Unsere Empfehlung ist zudem: Schauen Sie sich Beirut in der Vorweihnachtszeit an und Sie werden überrascht sein, wie man dekorieren und wie weltoffen man sein kann - ein Weihnachtsbaum vor der Moschee, das hat uns beeindruckt.

We checked in early. Asley gave us a room that had just opened up cleaned -- . . Ended up next to smoking rooms. We were not aware Kansas allowed smoking in % of rooms. Management had us move to another room -it was an upgrade from roon #149 to #289 - a suite. Quiet part and no smoke. Staff was so appreciative we accepted their move.Two gals on Sunday morning breakfast worked their fannies offserving and bussing tables. Kids all over. They were gracious about it. Please give them more help on similar mornings.We received the quality and friendliness we have come to expect at Holliday Inn. Made our visit to Topeka enjoyable.

Great property, very comfortable and great location

The food service was not good, staff was very unfriendly and unhelpfull, especially the employees at breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool area and games but at night it was very loud, we were located right next to the pool area. We called the front desk but nothing was done. The hotel is also dated, old furniture and just very low budget

If had to stay in Topeka again, would probably choose the Holiday Inn Express on Robinson--newer hotel, queen size beds instead of full size.
