Located in an area that was easy to get around in. Comfortable feeling as soon as you walk in the door. I just wish there was fresh coffee available more often.

Very calm, quiet, and quaint. This is exactly what i needed. Staff is very reposed and creates a space to really decompress.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating and very conscious of cleanliness and sanitization measures due to Covid. I felt safe staying in this place and would go back anytime.

Ive stayed in many guest houses with shared bathrooms basic amenities and this is one of the best. Its very clean, the staff is friendly, and the free breakfast was pretty good. They also provide free parking, which is otherwise impossible to find in the area. Its ideal for single travelers. Each floor has several bathrooms which are very, very clean. The hotel is also just a few minutes walk from Harvard Square. The room I stayed in was a bit tight and only appropriate for one person--but then, I was alone.

My family of four stayed overnight in one of the family rooms. It was immaculate and comfortable with charming touches like built in book shelves and reading lights in the lower bunk. The staff were intelligent and informative. Parking was convenient and free. We had less than 1/2 mile walk to Cambridge clubs and restaurants. We slept deeply in comfortable clean well-made beds and awoke to abundant hot water for our showers. Breakfast was charming. Everything you could want. Teapots with loose leaf tea, hard boiled eggs, pastries both savory and sweet, plentiful fruit, juice, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea..the list goes on. All self serve in a thoughtful and pristine setting. A refrigerator is provided for guest use complete with post-it notes for labeling. We couldnt have been happier!

My room had flies and the sheets were stained, I left and am hoping the owners reimburse me.

Quaint bed and breakfast on a quiet street and only a 5 or so minute walk to Harvard Square. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and attentive to our needs as guests. The family room was beautiful- plenty of room for a family of four. The breakfast was incredible! Homemade muffins and other baked goods, eggs, fresh fruit and delicious coffee made for a fantastic start to our day. I will definitely stay here again when visiting the Cambridge/Boston area.

We needed a place to stay within walking distance of Harvard that would house myself, my husband and my teenaged daughter for one night. We booked a family room. It was perfectly adequate but a four flight walk up. The bathroom was tiny and not exactly spotless. Room needed two hours ventilation before I could breath, it was so stuffy. Breakfast was fine. Front desk staff seemed annoyed at me that my online booking seemed to be for two people when in fact we were three. I had a copy of the reservation which requested a room for two adults and a teen and they did have us down for the family room, so Im not sure what the fuss was about. The receptionist just seemed generally annoyed. I have stayed in bed and breakfasts before but this one was completely charm-free. I would more accurately describe it as a boarding house. In any case, I would not stay here again.

Room was small but comfortable, ten minutes to downtown, great residential neighborhood, good breakfast included. Only negative is off-street parking, alongside & behind the B&B, extremely tight for anything but a small car... returned to lodging late at night, only one space left in rear of building; after trying to fit into it for 10 minutes, had to give up & park elsewhere.

Historic building with pleasant rooms. Not inexpensive. Great breakfast choices and cool basement location.

Short walk distance to University, very special victorian atmosphere, excellent organic breakfast, very friendly staff. If it werent for a constant dripping noise during the night, I suppose related to the heating system, in room 109 ( room adjacent to reception, Im sure owners will find a solution), our stay was excellent.
