My wife and I stayed at Sandos for 3 nights. It was truly an amazing trip. The food was absolutely delicious and we booked the Italian and Hibachi. Highly recommended. The pool bar was 10/10. Drinks were great and the food was even better. The view from the pool bar was to die for! It was amazing. We had two things that bothered us, a small leak in the AC which was fixed, and the People working at the resort kept asking us about the Spa and anything else outside of that. We told them no countless times and it was getting uncomfortable after a while because we clearly stated that we just wanted to hang out and relax. At one point we asked a gentleman for 2 towels and he came back with the brochure for more excursions. Other than that, we’d gladly come back to this resort. For the price you pay you get amazing food, drinks, clean rooms, great customer services and access to the beach. It really was an amazing trip!

Wir waren Ende Februar ein Woche im Hotel Sandos. Alles zu meiner Zufriedenheit verlaufen. Habe den Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel und retour gebucht, hat alles problemlos geklappt und ich musste nach dem langen Flug um Mitternacht nicht noch ein Taxi organisieren. (Die Taxis wolllten anscheinend so spät gar nicht mehr fahren...). Im Hotel sehr freundlich empfangen, alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett. Morgenessen ist Buffet, Mittagessen wird serviert (man scannt beim Essen immer den QR-Code für das Menu), Nachtessen kann man Zeit und Restaurant auswählen. Zur Zeit waren abends immer zwei Restaurants zur Auswahl. Essen war gut. Minibar im Zimmer wurde nicht regelmässlig von selbst aufgefüllt, wenn man aber seine Getränkewünsche bei der Reception meldete, wurde immer sehr rasch aufgefüllt. Meer war beim Hotel eher wellig und recht starke Strömung, aber weiter nördlich gibt es sehr ruhiges Meer. Dahin kommt man sehr gut mit den kleinen Bussen, die alle paar Minuten vorne an der Haupstrasse durchfahren. Kostet 12 Pesos pro Person und kann direkt beim Fahrer bezahlt werden. Corona-Test konnte ganz einfach und kostenlos im Hotel durchgeführt werden. Noch ein Tipp zum Gesundheitsformular, das man für die Einreise nach Mexiko ausfüllen muss: Wir bekamen nur Fehlermeldungen, wie andere Reisende auch. Das Formular mussten wir dann gar nie zeigen. Beim zweiten Nachnamen unbedingt etwas hineischreiben, bei der Ausreise in Mexiko bekamen wir den Tipp: Na auf diese Zeile schreiben.

Positive: Awesome buffet with good variety. Excellent staff Nice places to hang out with cool ocean breezes. Definitely has an upscale ambiance to it. Negative: The furniture in the bar was uncomfortable. The loungers and cabanas need cleaning.

Previously stayed at sandos 5 years prior and the food was amazing. This time around not so much. Somewhat understandable things are different with COVID-19 going on during the stay but it was clear the quality of food was suffering because of it. Facility was fairly clean staff was extremely accommodating had a nice massage and the drinks were decent

Well let me start telling that this resort isn’t near 4-4.5 star resort. We had visited Cancun for New Years 12/27-1/2/21. Don’t believe what’s rated on Expedia reviews it’s all fake reviews. All those Photos are photoshopped. The hotel is more like 2 star Motel. You will see the condition as soon as you enter the lobby. Very outdated, non luxury motel. I have been in Cancun 9 times and this Sandos resort and Crown Paradise should be called motels not hotels. They only have one outdoor restaurant I would call more like a buffet, food makes you sick, just horrible. Pool is in bad condition not heated, beach area not maintained, so no beach chairs only couple of cabanas. The room has mouldy smell, showers don’t even turn on, just depressing. I specifically upgraded to ocean front view and when I entered the room I began crying from how outdated, old, and how the room had mouldy smell. I went immediately to reception and said I’m sorry I can’t stay to celebrate New Years in your resort because it’s not 4-4.5 star resort. It’s more like a motel and that sandos didn’t meet my expectations. We had purchased 4 rooms with them and I asked if I had checked out now how much will penalty be they told me one night, and Alejandro-concierge guy told me that I need to request refund thru Expedia and that Sergio-supervisor will approve one day penalty. Even though we were only there for 2 hours waiting for our room and we checked out as soon as I saw the room condition.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was so friendly and always wanted to help guests and answer questions. My only complaint would be the food. The same food served every single day for lunch. Dinner options were decent but a reservation was needed. The partial ocean view room is just a room on the side of the hotel which faces the other hotels next door so you really have to turn and find the ocean view. Not sure I would pay extra for this room again. Overall the hotel was nice. I would stay here again.

The lock on our room didnt work. After 5 attempts of going up to our room and back down to the reception desk to wait in line & back up again and being kept awake until after midnight with them replacing the lock, the new lock didnt work either. We had to get a bellboy to let us in to our room when we needed in. Only 2 restaurants are open each night and you have to make reservations. The Japanese restaurant was booked out 5 nights ahead because they can only accommodate 18 people per night, everyone else had to eat at the disgusting and very limited buffet. We were able to get into the Italian restaurant one night and that was good food. Everything else was booked. We were there 6 nights and even though I checked first thing each morning, we were only able to eat at a restaurant other than the buffet once. We ended up sitting in our room when we wanted to eat because we could order room service or we left the hotel to find food elsewhere. The hotel room was dirty and had many broken things. Like our toilet, shower, chair. Also, pools are not heated. I never saw even one person in the pool out of the 6 days we were there. The nightly entertainment is a joke. They had a very small club basically a room with a bar and some chairs to sit in. They had music playing. One night was karaoke but thats it for entertainment. I could have paid a fraction of the price at a non-all inclusive resort and paid the difference in good food/drinks. The staff were EXTREMELY nice.

We loved Sandos. The food was pretty good and the staff went above and beyond. The facilities were beautiful. We had some issues with Expedia but no problems with the resort!

Positive: Everyone at the resort was so friendly and welcoming! The room was spotless and the view was amazing!

Jai trouver lhotel vraiment beau le personnel agréable Mais lors de notre arriver impossible de faire une réservation au restaurant avant 21h30 ils nous ont dis que nous devions réserver davance mais nous venions juste darriver à lhotel donc nous ne pouvions pas le faire avant plusieurs fois au restaurant nous avons du rappeler ma commande plusieurs fois oubliéEnsuite énormément de soucis avec le WIFI nous avons du ouvrir ma femme moi notre réseaux car le wifi ne fonctionnée pas ( nous avons eu des frais ) nous étions obligées car nos business sont en ligne Nous navions rien dans les chambres pour ouvrir les bouteilles deau Leau chaude a un moment ne fonctionnés pas dans la chambre a un moment je trouve que pour le prix payé je mériterai une compensationLe personnel était vraiment agréable par contre je nai aucune critique a faire sur le personnel Si vous pouviez faire un geste suite a ce message sa serait appréciéLudovic

Room service, the beach and cabanas were nice. I was really disappointed that all the beer was room temperature. The alcohol tasted cheap, but what can I expect? All inclusive...

I had a ocean view. The rooms are nice but could use some upgrading as well as the outside. The service at this hotel was outstanding. The food was just ok. Breakfast was basically same thing and sometimes not hot enough. I did not like the fact the buffet wasn’t open for lunch or dinner. Lunch was at a snack bar and I did not like much of the food. Dinner was at the al carte restaurants. The Italian and Steakhouse was good. I would recommend here.

El hotel cuenta con excelente instalaciones, el persona es muy amable pero las medidas de bioseguridad son muy pocas, el staff por instrucciones del hotel deben usar una especie de acetato en su boca exponiéndose ellos y a los huéspedes, nadie del staff usa cubrebocas. Muchas veces encuentras comida servida como panecillos y mantequilla antes que lleguen los huéspedes sin saber si esto ya ha estado expuesto a todo tipo de contaminación. En el área del desayuno paso lo mismo al tener un buffet servido al que cualquier persona pueda tocar creo que no es lo más indicado ya que vi a varios huéspedes ingresar sin cubreboca. En general la atención del staff y las instalaciones son muy buenas pero las medidas de bioseguridad muy deficientes, si quieres ir debes saber que vas bajo tu propio riesgo.
