Wonderful gem! we were there for 3 nights and were so pleased with every aspect of our trip and stay there. Lonnie is an amazing host and a killer cook. Breakfast cooked to order; good food, good company with other guests. Definitely want to come back and stay longer :)

We loved our stay at the Wood Cottage! Cozy with an ocean view from the front porch- we watched a seal from the porch swing, and relaxed to the sounds of waves and owls at night. It was very peaceful and quiet. The cottage itself was well stocked with all we needed and then some. The innkeeper was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!!

We never actually got to stay at this property. When we arrived the Property Manager, Lonnie, informed us that the suite we had paid for was not available, and that instead we would need to stay in a trailer. She gave us two options, neither of which smelled very nice. One had a dirty bathroom and broken electric outlets. When I asked to be switched to a suite at the soonest possible opportunity, Lonnie got very angry and said we did not have to stay there at all. She was very mad at Expedia saying that they have put her in difficult situations many times, overbooking her rooms and leaving her to deal with clients. We informed her that we were the ones stuck in the middle, and due to her yelling, in quite an insulting manner, we would go if we could have our money back. She continued to yell about Expedia and eventually refunded the money saying good luck finding anywhere else to stay. It was a horrible experience, and the worst behaviour from a person in the service industry I have ever witnessed. I highly recommend avoiding this property!

Jaurais aimé pouvoir me faire à déjeuner ou du BBQ mais les installations réservées ne le permettaient pas. En général, nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

The Sea Parrot is a combination of a hotel, a B&B, and a cottage all in one. The rooms are in a separate building so you have more privacy, but you go to the main house for breakfast which is prepared by the owner. I wish the beds were more comfortable, but the ocean view from the balcony is fantastic.You choose your breakfast the night before and the time youll be having it, the owner prepares it in the morning, and you enjoy it on the patio with an ocean view.If youre looking for luxury, or for someone to do your bed every morning, this isnt for you. If youre looking for a decent place on the Cabot trail, with amazing view...youre at the right place.The reason I wouldnt recommend it to my friends and family because theyre more into a hotel style accommodation than a B&B style.

The view was beautiful! The room we stayed in was the perfect size for a week for the two of us and a small dog. The breakfast was delicious and the host and hostess were very nice and accommodating. This was the perfect place to relax and walk on the beach and also visit the nearby Cape Breton Highland National Park. We especially enjoyed our breakfast on the porch each morning and visiting with folks from other countries.

Minuses - a little bit outdated and check in until 7pmPluses (much more) - fantastic location and settings.Owner is a little bit rough, but if you find a way to her heart - youll find fantastic host.And pancakes - never forget that taste - the best in the world

A really beautiful view with all you dream of finding. Hot tub overlooking the ocean, lovely grounds with lots of comfortable chairs/loungers. Everything you need to be at home when traveling.

We felt very home when we stayed there. The staffs are very nice and they tried to do whatever they could to make guests happy.

Very disappointed that the description did not reflect the actual unit and will never go by description alone when booking a stay. An older one bedroom Travel Trailer with a pull out sofa bed in the dining area is NOT a two bedroom cottage! A camper queen bed is NOT the same as a regular queen size bed, with width is similar but the length is much shorter and it is about 4 thick on a plywood base. The attached deck was nice but the description said patio or balcony which several other actual cottages on the property had.

Very unique accommodation - surprisingly comfortable. Always a pleasure to find things immaculately clean particularly when renting an efficiency unit (we BBQed both evenings).

Our hostess was very friendly and accommodating.The breakfast was ample and delicious. We had a wonderful water view from our room and the room was spacious and very clean..

Two day stay at Sea Parrot Manor. Lovely ocean views. Quiet and peaceful. Our suite was clean and comfortable.
