Das Zimmer war in einer Hinter ecke und hatte ein Badezimmer was kleiner als eine Kammer war. Absolut Nicht Preiswert !

The location is fantastic and by far the best thing about the hotel. You’re 5 mins into the old town and the views from the hotel across to the Schloss, the river and the old town are breathtaking. The decor and the style of the hotel is also very on point. The room was very clean and spacious.However there is a lot wrong with this hotel. We felt the hotel is trying to be something it isn’t. This hotel is charging 5* prices but doesn’t have the facilities not the staff to back this up. 1) There wasn’t any parking on site when we arrived and the gentlemen who hung around waiting for us to get our belongings together was the most unprofessional I’ve EVER come across. We are certainly not prude, and perhaps it was the casual way we were dressed but you certainly don’t expect an employee of a hotel like this to start using the F word whilst having a conversation with you! BIG NO2) We weren’t advised there was a Spa or a Hot Tub/Sunbathing area outside when we checked in so we went looking for them on the second day and we were followed around and made to feel very uncomfortable like we were doing something wrong. 3) Breakfast is overpriced at €25. Our advice is save your money and buy from the old town. The only warm option on the menu is ‘eggs’ and when my poached eggs arrived they were so overcooked.4) The spa is private (tiny) so was booked up and the outside hot tub area is difficult to find, unorganised and a little scruffy. We wouldn’t go back.

Excellent location across the bridge from the busy and noisy town centre. Amazing view to the castle and the old town. Beautiful rooms. We stayed with 18 months baby and it was convenient to stay in a family suite, where she could sleep in a separate room. We did not use the little kitchenette, but it was good to have it. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the hotel to any type of travelers.

This property is directly across the river and a short walk to the city and to Philosophers Walk. We loved the views of the city and castle from our window. The facilities are kept immaculate. They have a Nespresso machine and coffee in your small well-appointed kitchenette. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the shower is a treat with its generous water flow/pressure (Reminiscent ofvthe showers at Frederiksbad in Baden Baden). I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to get over my jet lag while enjoying a beautiful town.

Das Hotel mit gehobenem Ambiente verfügt über eine tolle Lage und einem Blick auf das Heidelberger Schloss. Jedoch hat das auch seinen Preis, so sind Parkplatz und Frühstück sehr teuer. Aber die Zimmer sind sehr schön!

The staff was very professional and friendly. We would love to visit this wonderful boutique hotel in the future - hopefully, for a longer stay this time. My only recommendation would be regarding the parking. To the staff: Thanks so much for everything!

The views were spectacular! Room 20 main building was our favorite! Garden and jacuzzi access with castle views was a bonus. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Extra bonus, we had central AC for the beautiful but very warm Fall season visit. Reserve a parking space if you have a car, as parking is limited!

Ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Schloss lohnt sich. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und höflich.

I liked everything in that property , fm the warm welcome of the staff , to the wonderful geographical situation , to the marvelous decoration .would recommend strongly for unforgettable memories in Heidelberg

Sehr schönes ruhiges Hotel, tolle Zimmer, sehr schöne Einrichtung. Sehr gutes Frühstück drinnen und draußen möglich. Der Gartenbereich hinten könnte gepflegter sein und ein paar Blumen wären schön, der Blick auf Unkraut ist nicht so toll und passt nicht zum Ambiente des Hauses. Unbedingt Parkplatz mit buchen, ist das größte Manko des Hotels.

We loved our stay at this súper chic boutique hotel that is every bit as special as the pictures suggest. The staff were welcoming, helpful and professional. Breakfast in the lounge was a treat for the senses. The hotel is very close to the Philosophers’ Walk and the Castle. We enjoyed both, particularly the guided tour of the castle.

Amazing hotel and staff. Beautiful town. Hotel is even movie than photos. Great location. Very spacious and comfortable room- I was in the superior suite. This town has lots of bugs and spiders and no screens on windows so be aware of that.

Wir hatten die Junior Suite für eine Nacht. Am liebsten wären wir länger geblieben. Tolles Ambiente, gemschmackvoll, stilsicher und interessant eingerichtet. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Neckar und das Schloss. Die Lage ist perfekt, unterhalb des Philosophenwegs und über die Brücke liegt die Stadt. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Luxushotel!

The property is lovely and within walking distance to historic areas of Heidelberg. The staff members were all very accommodating.

Wunderschöne Kulisse, man riecht förmlich noch die sanierten Zimmer, es riecht nach Holz. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Service beim Frühstück. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Neckar und die Altstadt. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und entspannen! Weiter so!

Wir haben das Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht. Sehr gut ausgestattete Suiten mit kleiner Küche und Badewanne. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer auf Schloss ist vor allem abends wunderschön...Das Hotel ist auf alle Fälle weiterzuempfehlen... wir werden wiederkommen!

The hotel is not cheap, located good,promising parking but leading you to park in a public car park The rooms look good in pictures but in an uncomfortable reality, the heating did not work .and nobody explain to us how to operate it, simply not worth the money.

Our room was dirty. We had a cockroach on the bed. And a large spider web was hanging over the bed. Room lacked privacy and comfort. We were very disappointed and canceled our stay to move to another hotel

Great location - a very short walk across the bridge to all the stores and restaurants but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. We had a junior suite with a balcony and the view was amazing.

Das Hotel war wirklich der herausragend. Von Anfang war der Servie sehr zuvorkommend und lückenlos. Auch das Zimmer liess nichts zu wünschen übrig. Zudem ist man zu Fuss in 5 Minuten in der Altstadt von Heidelberg!
