We spent 4nights at this hotel. It is very conveniently located close to Salamanca and down town- walking distance.The hotel is lovely - even if old but well maintained. Continental breakfast was not great. Needs a bit of improvement. The main issue was the parking - it was 2 blocks away and still cost 17.50 a night. They have no other options really so if planning to go there be prepared as even parking outside to drop luggage off is difficult.

Suite room was nice with couch and coffee table. Nice spacious room for old hotel. Staff were all professional and friendly. Seafood Chowder was amazing

Celebrated with friends our 50th Birthday. Great location and the brekkie was great too. Loved the heritage of the building. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic hotel located in a central lo. All Staff were very helpful and courteous. They looked as if they wanted to be there.

Our second time in Tasmania, but our first time at Hadley’s in Hobart! Beautiful historic building! Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom! Very convenient for shopping and restaurants! Very friendly and efficient staff!Continental breakfast is lovely!We will be back again when in Hobart!

Loved the old world feel of the place. Getting dressed up for the evening and going to the bar for happy hour drinks, made me feel like I had been transported to a more glamorous time. We also loved that breakfast was from 7am-10am so you had plenty of time to head downstairs for a leisurely morning meal in the atrium.

The Hadley Orient is a nice hotel, located in a central area of Hobart. The hotel itself is wonderful but our room bathroom did not have exhausts or windows unless it was missed by us to notice. Overall an wonderful experience. Fantastic beds and pillows.

We had a fantastic stay. We had the spa room and it was spacious for 2 adults and toddler. This is my 2nd time staying here and it won’t be the last. The breakfasts were also a great added extra.

Room was fine, but overall what impressed me was the wonderful staff:- at Reception Crystral was full of empathy and understanding and dealt with any of our queries. Staff in the Bar were attentive to advising that they were closing the Bar and making sure we did not want anymore drinks.Breakfast was terrific covid safe with plenty of room/space.The Parking did concern me as would be a bit scary coming out of the carpark at night back to the Hotel! My stay at this hotel was indeed a lovely one!

Good old hotel, beautifully maintained. Close to Salamanca district and restaurants. The in-hotel restaurant is also highly recommended. Staffs are very kind and friendly. Definitely, we will come back.

The Hadley is a beautiful Hotel that has retained its old world charm. The entire staff, front desk, restaurant, bar and cleaners were all friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The location is fantastic. Very short walk to Salamanca, shopping, pubs & restaurants.

Staffs were friendly, overall was enjoyable stay. But breakfast choice is very limited, even for a standard continental breakfast.

A very comfortable study at a beautiful old hotel

They had the most comfortable beds and pillows, and the staff were lovely.

The hotel is older, but that’s what gives it its unique charm. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, but for a busy holiday weekend, I would’ve expected more than one receptionist. The phone was constantly ringing while trying to help guests which resulted in a delay of service. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Close to the centre of town and very friendly staff and a great bar area.
