We have just got back from a stay at the Club Bamboo which was very pleading. For our first few nights we stayed in a Duluxe Bungalow which was very nice however was open to mosquitos as well being woken up by the sun at the crack of dawn. We then shift to a Grand Deluxe Double room which was fantastic, we had a pool view and the room was clean and tidy with good working AC. The room was cleaned each day and the staff where very friendly and always helpful. Restaurant is a nice retreat with nice food at a reasonable price. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Patong its about 15 mins from the beach or 200bht in a tuk tuk. Over all would stay again and would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of town.

First off I have to say that this property does have a few nice looking bungalows and I’m sure that some of the rooms in the hotel part are nice. On Expedia the pictures make the hotel look decent. This was not our experience. At check in we were greeted by a nice young girl. The check in part was fast and easy. The room that was given to us was a different story. The room that we had was B06. It was below one of the bungalows. It had a slight dungeon like feel. Once we got it the room we could see that it was quite outdated. The couch to the left of entrance was stained. The curtain rod over the front sliding door was falling off the ceiling. Two of the ceiling anchors had broke through the drywall, the latch for the door was not very secure(didn’t look safe). The bathroom was a mess the mirror was falling apart the sink was dingy, the ceiling falling apart in some places. I’m about 6’2” and if you were to take a shower your head would just about hit the ceiling. the bed was also a little disturbing. I took off some pillow cases and noticed the pillows were old moldy and has sweat stains on them. I could go on and on. Needless to say we immediately checked out and found a better hotel. Thanks Expedia. I’m probably out the money I spent on the place but it was worth the cost to get our of there!!!

Just stayed at bamboo first room they put me in the bathroom was horrible so wast happy about that , I also payed for a deluxe room which was certainly far from a deluxe room when I complained to management I found a very rude and arrogant non helpful an pure English spoken staff. She then went on to change to a room which the exact same condition as the first along with hot water in the bathroom being non existent as well as the sockets in the room being loose and dangerous. Additionally when I was checking out they give me a bill for water which I did not used however I already signed the form as usual you don’t expect to pay for something that I didn’t use . When trying to explain the situation to management they made no effort to listen and took in no information that I was saying and there attitude was you have signed so it is too late . Overall this hotel is in need of a refurbishment also the reception area when wanting to go too pool there is a large number of uneven steps which is stupid. On a positive note I would like to add that the restraunt staff and the other memberss of staff excluding mangament where great and very helpful

Petit coin de paradis proche de tout sur Patong. Personnel très sympathique , agréable et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien climatisées. Lhôtel nous a même préparé un décoration spéciale pour notre lune de miel ! Lhotel propose aussi de nombreux services comme la location de scooters , très très utiles pour se déplacer sur toute la province de Phuket. Si nous revenons sur Patong, il est sur que nous reviendrons dans ce superbe hôtel au prix très abordable !

Warm welcome on arrival, rooms are really good. Pool is nice, free bus to central. Great choice

The staff were excellent, nothing was a bother to them. Our room was cleaned everyday by Mr Mew, who excels at his job. There are a lot of steps, so if elderly or infirm, that could be a problem but otherwise we had a great experience and would definitely stay there again. I had read quite a few negative reviews about Club Bamboo, dirty, insects etc but we didn’t find any of the problems given in the reviews. All in all, especially for the price paid it was a great hotel with the best staff.

Very nice staff , very well presented and friendly. The building needs major money spent on it and bedding was stained, Breakfast omelette were amazing, tv reception was useless, beer was nice and cold,massage was great, dodgy tradesman have been making a mess of any repairs, appliances don’t stay in power sockets - that just fall out- had to put a table against phone charger to keep it from falling out of wall socket, pool was good,

Have been staying here for years. Always good rates and friendly staff and quiet facility. Shuttle service provided to beach but motorbike taxis are plentful if you dont rent your own.

Nos llevamos una gran decepción con este hotel. Habíamos reservado la villa privada con piscina y tuvimos varios problemas:1. No nos dieron la habitación hasta una hora y media más tarde de la hora de check-in.2. Anuncian que tienen horno en la cocina y no es verdad.3. No funcionan los fuegos y está mal equipada.4. Tiene cuartos dentro de la villa muy descuidados y con lagartijas.5. La piscina no es realmente privada porque personal del hotel va entrando y saliendo constantemente sin previo aviso.6. Hay una cascada en la piscina bastante ruidosa que no se puede desactivar y que se escucha constantemente dentro de la villa.7. El hotel está situado en medio de una colina y dentro del propio hotel hay muchas escaleras. En ningún momento se ofrecieron a ayudarnos con el equipaje.En general el hotel necesita una reforma. La villa no está mal para 5 estudiantes mochileros, pero no la recomiendo para nada para cualquier otro tipo de turistas.

Great experience, 20 min walk from patong beach or 5 min tuk tuk. Nice and quiet away from noisy Patong beach. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Stayed in bungalow with two friends, our room was right next to pool side. The breakfast buffet varied most days, beers and cocktails were cheap. Overall like your staying in a tropical oasis. Would be happy to stay again

Staff are very nice and welcoming. The food is Greta but a little pricy. The pool and room was very clean and nice. Short walk to the night markets.

Kept very clean and staff extremely friendly. But room was terrible, bed uncomfortable, tv antiquated and very poor reception, sewage smell in bathroom at various intervals and during the night constant noise in the building from generator. Overall the standard of the room was not like the photos shown on the websites that i had viewed prior to booking.

Their pool was really nice and staff were really friendly! nice place to stay in but no lift so those who have leg issues got to expect loads of climbing.

I loved the stay. Definitely a very great value for money. My gratitude and respect goes out to all the people who work in CBB who will do anything to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Id be happier with just toast and fruit then the attempt at a hot breakfast.

Situe hors Patong, sur ses hauteurs, obligation de louer un scooter ou payer 150-200 baths par trajet en taxi pour se rendre en ville. Malgre une adorable petite piscine noyee dans un tres bel ensemble vegetal,c est un hotel partant en ruine, comme trop d hotels en Thailande. les chambres sentent le moisi, le mobilier tombe en morceaux, les clims sont bruyantes, sans compter des travaux tout autour de l hotel 24 h sur 24 qui le rendent bruyant. En conclusion, un rapport qualite prix vraiment pas interessant et surtout disproportionne par rapport au standing fourni.

It was my first time to visit thailand. I travelled to ***y krabi, bangkok and phuket. But by far club bamboo was the best hotel i stayed in thailand. Ameneties and services was outclass. location is around 1km from patong beach. Almost 15 minute walk to patong. Shuttle is available thrice a day for free to patong from hotel. I really had great memories of staying in club bamboo.

Ein Hotel, weit weg von Gogo-Bars, Disco, Strand und Hauptstraße, daher ideal für Ruhesuchende. Man muß allerdings gut zu Fuß sein, denn durch die Hanglage gibt es viele Treppen und keinen Lift. Der Pool ist relativ klein und wegen der vielen Bäume und Sträucher rings herum immer mit Blättern und Ästen voll. Leider ist der Boden im Pool glitschig und einige Fliesen sind defekt. Das Personal im Restaurant ist freundlich und das Essen ist okay. Im Zimmer, ein luxuriöser Bungalow ist die Klimaanlage zu laut, der Fernseher hängt so an einer Säule, mitten im Zimmer, daß man ständig mit dem Kopf droht dagegenzulaufen. Die Wanne im Badezimmer wurde bereits überarbeitet und das ist schon wieder abgeblättert. Dafür ziert ein schöner Schimmelrand die Wanne und den Duschvorhang. Einen Stuhl für den Schreibtisch gibts auch nicht.

Staff were very friendly and happy to help, restaurant didnt have huge food/beverage selection but was cheap and yum. Beds werent very comfy but rooms cleaned daily. Overall had a great stay, good value for the price.

Top Lage außerhalb des ganzen Trubels und der Reizüberflutung. 10 min fussläufig vom Stadtleben entfernt. Das Personal ist überfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die poolanlage sehr sauber und fantasievoll. Zimmer sehr sauber.

The welcome and subsequent help from the reception was truly amazing.We loved the waterfall by the pool and the good breakfast in particular.Unfortunately I have a painful knee at present and did not find the steps easy but the staff did everything possible to assist including offering us a room next to the reception.The free shuttle to the beaaach wad very useful.

The sewage system is the major problem, very strong smell of sewage around the resort. Very basic and recommend maintenance of room facilitates.

Team very professional friendly and helpful.The room are lovely and very clean .All resort is in Thai style.The food also is good.

Nice place to stay, a little out of the way but that can be a good thing,only Thai stations on the tv and very poor internet connection.Great Staff, would stay again.
