I mean you get what you pay for. I stayed for a week with no complaints. Shared bathroom isn’t the best and the shower could use updating but the room was perfect! Big room with a massive bed what else do you need? Breakfast every morning and a bar area with selective drinks with reasonable prices.

Adequate for single night stay. Straightforward check in - helpful with taxi numbers. Clean cotton sheets. No frills, no bedside light, no tea/coffee facilities in room, single glazing so nightlife clearly audible (though not for an extended period). Did not pay the additional fee for breakfast so cant comment on that.

Certainly the best accom. in the area. Large warm and exceptionally clean room. Only thing missing was a tea making facility but that is not an issue. The breakfast was well prepared and very cheap and the staff were attentive and had a great sense of humour. Whole set up was perfect for my needs and the prices were very reasonable

Breakfast was £5 extra per night which would be fine and they only told me when I booked in that there would be no breakfasts on Saturday morning. I paid for a breakfast for Sunday morning and was told late Saturday night that there would be no Sunday breakfast either. The only food they had was 1 small pack of frozen bacon. I did get my £5 back though.No tea making facilities in room but I was told tea and coffee are available downstairs and I can help myself to as many as I like, however, the 1st time I got anywhere near the room with the tea, kettle etc they reprimanded Wooh, where do you think youre going, thats staff only. I had to ask them if they could make me a drink, yes they did make me one upon request but that is not the point.Add to that a communal toilet with a non-functioning electric light and no natural light either. I had to use it with the door open, needless to say I used it for standing purposes only.There was a licensed bar facility but that room was locked for the entirety of Saturday.My recommendation is that you remove The Grafton House Hotel Bed & Breakfast from your website options.

Close to train station. Great price point for what you get. Helpful and pleasant people at reception. Comfortable.

Tuve que realizar un viaje de negocios a Leicester durante 3 dias. Al llegar me di cuenta que las habitaciones no tienen baños propios, sino que son compartidos y se encuentran cerca de las habitaciones en el mismo pasillo. No habia leido esa parte en el itinerario, al ver las fotos en las cuales una habitación salia con baño propio. El suelo es de madera por lo que el ruido de los pasos se aprecia mas en el pasillo, pero no hay suficiente actididad como para generar malestar. El personal ha sido simpático y presente en todo momento, La habitación me ha parecido limpia al entrar.

No tea or coffee facility in room. Stay at 2nd floor, elderly to walk down just to make a drink is not good. Double bed mattress is old and sprung. Only one pillow provided. Ceiling light3 light bulbs but one left that work. No bed side light.No housekeeping, stayed 2 nights but room don’t get cleaned.Free parking, staff friendly and helpful.Location is greatStayed in room 16 2nd floor.

This alleged B&B was not en-suite as advertised.One had to walk down a corrider to go to tolilet and shower. Bed was had as a brick. One wardrope in room dated 1950s. Only i had already paid. We would have left. No breakfast was available from guest. Mo parking as advertised.

A very comfortable and clean hotel but unfortunately lacked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Cons:The room. It was a double bed, and my friend and I weren’t a good match. We asked if it were possible to change, but wasn’t possible. The room design wasn’t very good, as the room was quite bare, and the television didn’t work. We were only there for a night so we didn’t mind. It wasn’t very clean, the walls had a couple brown stains, and the closet a bit dusty. If you didn’t add the breakfast option to your hotel booking, you can’t change your mind, or pay for breakfast later.Pros:The shared shower looks clean, and the toilet didn’t run out of paper.

Decent room, freindly service and clean. Tea and coffee would have neen a bonus but still good for the price.

Booked for 7 days. Advertised as pay at the property and brekfast included, but they proceded to take the money out of my account the second I booked. When we checked in the receptionists was very unwelcoming and informed us breakfast wasnt included in the room i booked. I was asked every day what my room number was even though I am the one who checked in,after the 3rd day i felt i was being harrassed every time i left and came back. Spraypaint on the room walls, lingering odor and the heating is on a timer for nights only so your basically left to freeze during the day. I guess you get what you pay for. Wouldnt recommend it.

Excellent location near station. Basic clean and good bed in quiet road.

Pleasantly surprised after reading all negative comments. Room was simple but clean, reception friendly and welcoming and good breakfast. Very good value for money if youre looking for a central location and just need 1 or 2 nights stay.

Hotel was perfect for what was needed hotel staff really friendly and helpful would recommend for people to stay

There was supposed to be a desk which I needed for work and there wasn’t. No other furniture in the Rio. Noisy throughout the night.

I found this place to be of very poor value and is in need of a complete make over.The staff are not all that polite and are very much in need of help to run and maintain this place to the proper standard it should be at.If you are hoping for the luxury of most popular Hotels or B & Bs then this is not the place for you.The money that I paid did not fully go towards the room as the company I booked with took a share and that was also unacceptable alongside their failure to make sure the B & B is up to scratch for people to be within.Bless the people at the B & B but there is no reason not to improve the place or let it go to someone who can do so where they cannot afford to.

Ich habe dort nach einer langen Anreise noch nicht einmal richtig duschen können, da der Durchlauferhitzer offensichtlich kaputt war. Weder warm noch kalt war möglich.

Ich kann mich nicht erinnern vorher schon einmal an so einem Ort gewesen zu sein. Es ist dreckig, laut. Es gibt nur eine dreckige Toilette für 10 Zimmer! Das Personal ist unhöflich und unfreundlich.

The hotel is not exactly new but it is fine for the prices charged. The staff members were excellent, being centrally located, the hotel is easily accessible from any part of town and ideal for people visiting the nearby universities like the Leicester university.Overall, the place is good and value for money and the management is keen on refurbishing it.

Very basic but great for the price, mattress in my room was a bit weak and the walls are thin so noise disturbed me a little. Room was clean and quite comfortable, wifi worked.

For price very good probably cheapest in Leicester. Few frills.

Good location and excellent secure parking but very expensive for what we got; appalling mattress, broken bed, window locked so could only open three inches needed to be at least half the price.
