Super Lage und großes vor kurzem renoviertes Zimmer mit sehr schönem Bad.Das Team ist super freundlich. Parken sehr entspannt, 5 min. Fußweg vom Hotel für 5€ am Tag. Eine entsprechende Parkkarte gibt es vom Hotel. Können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Wirklich alles top! Zimmer, Service und Sauberkeit! Aber!!!!!!! Ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zur Hauptstraße ==> grenzt an Frechheit! Keine Ruhe die ganze Nacht trotz schallisolierter Zimmer. Wer Ruhe haben will, muss auf ein Zimmer fern der Hauptstraße bestehen.

We loved our stay here! The hotel is very clean, spacious and ideally located for exploring one of the most beautiful places in Germany. The breakfast is great, the staff are incredibly friendly and the entire experience was wunderbar! Highly recommend!

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist extrem gut . Überall zum Fuß gut zu erreichen. Zimmer war sauber.

All staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good quality and variety of foods. Great location in historic town with easy acces to all.

The owners are really nice and personable. The place is comfortable and the best thing is their yard, where you can leave the bikes over night, safely stored.Breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Location great and quiet.

Tolles kleines familiengeführtes Hotel. Wir waren für 2 Nächte, vier Personen in einem riesigen 4-Bettzimmer untergebracht, das bequeme Betten, ein modernes Badezimmer, kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Flachbild-Fernseher hatte. Frühstück war gut, Bedienung und Freundlichkeit des Personals noch besser. Die Lage ist zudem fast schon perfekt. Man wohnt sozusagen direkt in der Altstadt, nicht weit vom Hafen entfernt. Parkplatz ist direkt hinter der Brücke, die die Insel mit dem Festland verbindet und kostet (in unserem Fall), €5,-/Aufenthalt. Diesen Stellplatz bekommt man, wenn man an der Rezeption des Hotels das Personal anspricht - toll.Wir empfehlen diese Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter.

This hotel earned its 5 stars because of its staff. I don’t normally name staff in reviews, but Evelin welcomed us as if we were family. She showed patience (3 x kids in tow), explained things in German and English, carried a bag, paid particular attention to the needs of our children, created conversation at breakfast, offered recommendations for things to do and where to eat, and was just kind kind person. The hotel is narrow, and it’s two separate buildings so you may have to navigate from one to the other, but the rooms are worth it. Clean, comfortable, and the rooms are large. Very large for Europe and/or American standards. The hotel is situated right on the edge of the “walking area” and you are near everything you need to be near for vacation. The check in is efficient and welcoming. The rooms nice. The breakfast is typical German fare. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed for this price point in Lindau.

A nice comfortable hotel a short walk from the harbour and train station.We received a very warm welcome from the staff, check in was quick and easy. The room was large and had a good sized bathroom with large shower cubicle. It was beautifully clean and even had a mini bar with really reasonable prices. Breakfast is included and this was a good standard, typical Bavarian fare. Lindau island is pretty small so everywhere is a short walk away, about 10 minutes to the harbour to catch ferries to Austria and Switzerland.Lindau is a beautiful old town, there are plenty of good places to eat and the beer is generally pretty good! We ate at the Alte Post and the Engel stübe both serve traditional Bavarian food with great atmosphere and beer and reasonable prices.

Lindau is a great place to visit and this hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but did not have an elevator. The staff was outstanding. They were very friendly and spoke multiple languages including English. The breakfast was served in a very pleasant setting and included a wonderful array of meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads. In room internet service was not included but was available for a very modest cost. Everything in Lindau is within walking distance.

The location is excellent. The breakfast was great. The bedding was ok in comfort level and was pretty clean. Our room located on the second floor. We have to walk upstairs with our luggage because they don’t have elevator. We are happy in overall.

Its a three star hotel , and although the room was spacious, there was no air conditioning. The owner (woman) was extremely rude when it came to paying the hotel bill. I had assumed that I had already paid the bill to Expedia directly, as I had in previous holidays. I had assumed that I only had to pay the tax. She then said that the bill had not been paid beforehand. I said to her that I will try paying with my debit card but was not sure if there was sufficient funds in the card and if not my friend would pay it. Perhaps she did not understand me, anyway when the payment was rejected, she was so upset and said you should go back to the kitchens and make some money or that I had to wash dishes in the hotel , her English was not very good but there was still no need for her to say that. It was extremely rude. My friend paid for the room.

The hotel was perfectly located and the parking was very convenient. Note: you do have to walk about three blocks - which for us was NO problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and provided everything you could want.The room was large and the beds comfortable. If were back in the area - we will definitely stay here again.

This is a rather basic hotel in a good location (although not the best location on Lindau island). Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay as the hotel was clean, comfortable, offered very nice breakfast and was run by extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only slight deficiency that I noted was the insufficient sound insulation of the windows facing a relatively busy main road. The hotel, like all others on the island, is not exactly cheap, but we felt it was worth the money and we would recommend it without hesitation.

Das Hotel ist echt klasse. Saubere Zimmer, Bäder & Einrichtungen. Sehr gutes Früstück. Nettes Personal! Zu empfehlen!!! Sölden hat uns allerdings enttäuscht! Wir mussten 40km Talabwärts fahren um ein anständiges Abendessen zu bekommen. Sölden selbst war wie ausgestorben... Alle Restaurants waren in Sommerpause, echt schade

This hotel was a real gem! Located right on the edge of the old section of town, walking distance from everything on the island. We were greeted by a very friendly member of the staff, who even allowed us to park immediately in front of the hotel for the night. The room was large and clean, with the only down side that the elevator was under repair that day.

Needed a city centre hotel for one night. Hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian zone and difficult to find and impossible to get near with a car. It served its purpose, a bed for the night but this slightly rambling hotel hasnt been updated in a while and were I to travel to Stuttgart again Id choose somewhere easier to get to!

Very welcoming staff, with relativily modern rooms and best of all, a pedestal mounted fan in each room, which was invaluable in dealing with the heatwave weather at the time.
