Antiq was in a lovely old villa and our two story suite was amazing. We received a nice upgrade. It did have some worn furnishings and no bar or restaurant was open in the evening, but they did have a nice little cart of a couple of liqueurs for guests to try.

Beautiful spacious rooms but no elevator for some rooms. level change between rooms create a lot of potential for stubbed toes. Nice breakfast. Good central location but pedestrian only area prevents cars from reaching front door to drop off suitcases without a complicated procedure.

Hotel needs more maintenance and staff. No electric outlets inside the bathroom, curtains were broken, safebox broken. Location is very good. Maria at the front desk was very nice but the hotel feels like needs renovation and maintenance.

It was amazing as walking distance to old town and many nice restaurants. Service was very good too as staffs are very helpful and friendly. It has a very cosy environment

The hotel is in need of some repairs. It is an old building with minor annoyances such as toilet that runs and defective bathroom fan. The staff did there best to accommodate however. Room 16 is in the attic and one cannot get into bed without leaning over.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and outgoing to ensure my stay was excellent. The hotel is a charming centuries-old establishment that was converted to a hotel. I highly recommend staying here to experience a true Slovenian experience.

The location is great, and the beds were comfortable. The public areas are beautiful, but the condition of the rooms was appalling. The first room we were in was incredibly large, but insufficiently furnished. It was called a suite, but there was no couch or place to lounge. The credenza was in terrible condition. The safe did not work. Our main objection to the room was that the shower floor was cracked, which resulted in water pouring onto the floor, not only in the bathroom but also into the room itself. This was not recent damage, as the parquet floor was soaked, black, and rotting. (Pictures attached) It even smelled of rot! We decided that we had to forego showering due to the water all over the floor, so we complained about the room. The staff responded by moving us to a better room. However, the areas around the sink and tub had black mold! The furniture in the new room was cheap and poorly made. We woke up very cold and found there was no heat. We called the desk, and the person who responded found that the heat was not even turned on for our room. He said that the room probably had not been used recently. We also saw later (from lights in the windows) that our original room with moldy floors was immediately occupied again. Both rooms had lightbulbs out and dusty, dirty light fixtures. The staff members were very nice and responsive, but the housekeepers did a terrible job of keeping cups and tea, etc. supplied. The hotel shows terrible neglect by the manager.

Room was quirky but comfortable. Had everything you need - enought sockets, place to work etc. Some nice touches like fresh orchids. The hotel itself has plenty of character and the pedestrianised streets mean little traffic noise. Had little time to sample the hotel facilities - I didnt eat breakfast there, use the spa or sit in the lovely inner courtyard.

Booked Business class room for my Partners birthday present - got a great deal with flight and transfer to and from airport. Beautiful old style hotel with very friendly staff. Was overhwhelemd on entering ur room which turned out to be a suite - hallway, separate w.c., kitchen, huge living room and huge bedroom (with chandelier) amazing. Became very friendly with Milos (who we believe maybe one of the Managers but also does reception cover). Absolutely love and adore Ljubljana and will definitely be visiting again and again. Thanks to Milos, the local bar people etc and the local Tourist office (and guide Alan who was like an encyclopaedia of knowledge on our tour) we had a wonderful time.

A lovely location in the pedestrian area. Placing itself as a top end luxury hotel, and many points support that:large roomlarge bedkaviar at breakfastsome free slovenian alcoholic drinksbut it was not quite perfect:some large tears in the duvet coverno hairdryer (ended up borrowing one from another guest)stains on the chair

Läget är bra. Städ- och frukostpersonal verkar ha ytterst litet utbildning. Tyvärr hamnade vi uppe på vinden i ett rum med tvärbalkar som gjorde det knepigt komma i sägen. Belysningen är en katastrof!Receptionspersonalen var mycket hjälpsam.

Hotel is very cute and lots of character. Rooms are very nice as well. Only element that could use a bit of improvement was the shower - single enclosed stall with a bit of a sketchy shower head. Was a hand-held shower head, as well as a overtop one however we avoided the overtop one as it had mould growing on the spray nozzle. But overall a very nice stay.

The location was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful. The family suite was enormous and very comfortable. Note that there is currently no spa at the hotel.

I loved the historical aspect of the building and furnishings and the personal touches at reception, fruit and cookies etc. Housekeeping kept taking our soap in the bathroom which was a waste as we were there for 3 nights and needed to keep asking for more - we had an ant issue at the door and kitchen area - the shower door needs attention as it leaks all over the floor which will damage the flooring - loved the hotel though.

We were put in a ground floor room so was very noisy and we had to go outside to get to our room via a courtyard with lots of rubbish laying about and there was no external light until we had practically got to our room. Some of the furniture was a bit tired and worn. This being said the hotel is in a fantastic location and the rooms are large with good heating. Bit perplexed to find it in the small luxury hotels of the world....maybe we just got the crappy room. Did not eat in the hotel but when looking for the toilet came across a small kitchen area behind the bar which was frankly a health hazard with a grubby old dish cloth in a filthy sink, so was thankful that we decided to make the most of the wonderful cafes and restaurants locally. Very impressive entrance but the hotel sign was very small and not lit so we had difficulty finding it on our arrival as we did not arrive until late. Female receptionist had a could not be bothered attitude, however the male receptionist seemed to enjoy his job more. I could not tell you there names as they were not wearing a uniform or name badge. The accommodation was convenient and served it’s purpose just not luxury standard. The city is great and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Seems that owner does not want to invest a lot and hope that because of the history of the building and its location people will stay there no matter what. Spa is just a nice name, steam sauna was not functioning, Jacuzzi was too hot to step inside but suitable for boiling eggs. Gym also was not there and they think to get rid of spa as well in possible future. As for me if there will be no improvement I won´t come back. If not hotel´s staff professional behavior and kindness I would leave that hotel in bad mood and totally disappointed. It is the case when people can save reputation of the place but they cannot do it forever if nothing changes from above. I bet in summer it is more attractive to be there as they have charming garden where you can enjoy breakfast, which is very good by the way and they have one of the best coffees I have ever tried. But that is all what is good about this hotel, unfortunately in additional to amazing people working there.

Die Unterkunft ist an sich sehr beeindruckend, leider ist die Ausstattung nicht voll funktionsfähig (Duschen) und der Zugang zu Zimmer 19 eine Zumutung. Für diese Kategorie von Hotel ist das Parken absolut unzureichend.

Good place to go to the down town. The hotel is clean, comfort and quiet. Also staff is very kjnd. But facilities are a little old. I was satisfied with that.

I broke my leg four days into a 27 day vacation and never got to the hotel. And got no refund.

Central location in old quarter ; beautiful building but not as welll-maintained as it could be (Power-points falling out of walls); less luxurious than its designation as a Small Luxury Hotel led me to expect (very thin, hard towels)

Great location, large rooms, and basically enjoyable. The bedroom matched the pictures on the internet but bathrooms, hallways, etc., were very tired and dark. No bar, but very helpful and friendly staff.

Grosse Suiten. Meine hatte auch eine Klimaanlage. Das Hotel befindet sich im südlichen Teil des Stadtzentrum wobei alles zu Fuss erreichen ist.Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Nettes altes Haus mit Flair und großen Zimmern in der Fußgängerzone, in unmittelbarer Nähe von vielen Lokalen. Sehr freundliches Personal! Leider keine Parkmöglichkeit beim Hotel.

Wonderful hotel right in the middle of old town Ljubljana, close to everything. Helpful staff, first class rooms, super breakfast. Yes, its expensive, but really worth it!

Erstes Zimmer war eine Katastrophe... alles war dreckig und kaputt, dafuer waren siwe so nett uns ein anderes Zimmer zu geben, dass dann aber super war ... auch das gratis Morgenessen war mehr als kulant

Ein charmantes Haus, elegante Lobby, sehr freundlicher und bemühter Service, aber auch viele kleine Mängel: nicht reparierte Fußleisten, nicht schließende Fenster, unappetitliche Gardinen, u.ä.; die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist perfekt, ein kleiner Hinweis für die Anreise mit dem Auto wäre hilfreich (keine Zufahrt zum Hotel möglich); SPA ist etwas übertrieben
