Everything was great. The restaurant upstairs made accommodations for us because we stay at the hotel. Parking was validated so it was half the price. The front desk was always friendly. The fife shop had a nice vibe and a good selection. Everything was clean!

This was my first Virgin stay. There is no curb attendant/outdoor presence at the property. Dropping off/loading luggage is a nightmare... and the desk simply shrugs and says make sure theres somebody there, we guarantee nothing about tickets/tows. Right up the street, Kimpton has people... Do better, Virgin. Our room was nice enough, on the cozy side. There was 1 robe, which was tacky. We were too tired to ask for another. The smart TV wasnt so smart, so we just unplugged it and streamed media. The location sucks for any street parking. It was priced better than others, but felt like a push-and-shove hands-off hotel, besides a comfortable bed. We agreed we would not likely return to this location.

It was overall a nice stay. The staff is accommodating and they allowed us to check in early with no hassles at all. There is no housekeeping during your stay bc of covid which is to be expected but it would be nice if there was at least an area to dump your trash on your floor bc after a couple of days bags started piling up in our room. Also we did have to request towels 3 times from housekeeping but other than that it was a nice hotel. Very clean and just a nice overall vibe.

Very spacious and well kept. View could have been better but then maybe not building obstructions on all sides just about. Staff was friendly rooftop deck was beautiful and stunning views there.

Positive: I¿ve stayed here before. Great hotel with exceptional staff at the front desk. Rooms are well designed and the property is close to everything. Negative: Room could be cleaner. Bottom of shower door was grimy. Fridge smelled like something was allowed to rot in there. This hotel is located at a corner of where the loop elevated train turns. You¿ll hear the screech on floors lower than 20.

Everything was perfect. The check in was quick and service was great. There is room service and limited dining on the rooftop restaurant. We parked around the corner in a garage and got a discounted rate through the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again.

Rooms are extremely comfortable full of elegance definitely worth the money. Hotel staff are very helpful and the location is perfect not to mention they are pet friendly, also close to public transportation and within walking distance of Michigan Ave.

Positive: The room was very spacious, clean and modern. They provide snacks and drinks for a fee in the room, it should be free since breakfast was not provide, but why pay those high prices when you can walk to the 7-11 around the corner of the hotel. Negative: The front desk clerk ( lady) was not very helpful, with finding parking that allows in and out! They provide discounted parking ($25) for every 24hrs but parking should be free, since we only received a room, no breakfast, bar, or view.

Positive: Always love staying here. Negative: The elevators are a bit slow when the rooftop bar is open. And having to look at Trump¿s name across the river (not their fault of course).

Inconceivable how Virgin ranks as a top ten Chicago hotel. The elevators continually smelled like pot, guests were frequently unmasked, there isn’t a lobby— think kiosk for front desk, the train is right outside the building which you can hear from your home, and the cafe served day’s old pastries and mediocre coffee. We’ll never stay there again.

Very nice hotel and location was central to everything downtown. Just wish they had some kind of restaurants on-site.

Positive: The design was beautiful, the mini bar was very reasonably priced and the staff was extremely helpful.

Positive: Pets allowed with no additional fee. Negative: Parking was $25 with in/out privileges in a nearby garage. Not the cheapest but far from the most

Excellent facility. Parking isnt free but they validate. No complaints. Good value.

Positive: The bed was soft as ever and checkout was at 12! Which was awesome.

The best hotel I stayed!! Very clean, perfectly equipped room with wonderful furnishings. I was very surprised by the room. Also a great location to all different sight seeing. I will go back next time. Thank you!
