This is a very nice resort away from crowds. I loved it. Its clean and well serviced. Its staff is amazing.In terms of location you need a taxi to get to the main village or restaurants but its well worth it.The hotel restaurant is very limited in choice and pricey. However its the restaurant or nothing since there are no business around. I would recommend it as it is a place to relax and get reconnected with yourself.

Wow!!!! I was actually surprised how amazing this place was, I stayed in the executive bungalow, which has ocean view and private pool. Really excellent management, and will 100% visit again.

We had arrived to Phu Quoc one day earlier and stayed at another hotel near the night market so we can explore the area on motorbike. The next day Mercury resort was nice enough to pick us up from this hotel to their resort (this resort usually pick up their guests from the airport only). We were upgraded to a bungalow for free. Restaurant services were excellent. Happy hours with buy one get one free drink is a plus. Private beach is clean and beautiful with attentive staff. Thank you Mercury for a nice vacation.

Great place for family vacation. The villa was so beatiful and gave us much more space than normal hotel room. My daughter loved the pool there. The staffs and hotel manger were very friendly and always helpful. One negative thing was the food. We ordered Cesar salad on our last night there and felt like everything on the plate was left over food (the chicken breast has the soup flavor). But overall the place is great and we would come back again.

A paradise like no other. Excellent staff very friendly, always a lovely greeting. Premium room was excellent. Beech towels from the staff who really look after you. happy hour for drinks 5 pm-7 pm is something to embrace and enjoy. The only downside is most things end at 10 am (breakfast) or 10 pm the bar and restaurant close and you have to ask nicely for another drink. But overall a fantastic stay, really enjoyable. Thank you to everyone!!

The island of Phu Quoc is definitely up and coming and there’s a lot of choice out there. Overall we left happy and you won’t go wrong if you stay here. It was good value for money for a good experience and so here’s some useful info to help you decide:-- Room - we stayed in one of the bungalows which are closer to the main complex although everything is walkable and the hotel has buggy’s to bring luggage etc. Felt secure, lots of space, safe included but not big enough for laptops. Air con and fan. Good range of tv channels with English i.e HBO movies. Free water bottles each day. - Pool - Is central within the complex and nice with a swim up pool bar manned most of the time although sometimes you have to wait.- Beach - Absolutely lovely and the main complex is next to the beach. It’s quite private as no other resorts around. - Spa - totally lovely and not that expensive. Good range of treatments.- Food - Good mix of Vietnamese and western food although not a lot of fish. The Vietnamese dishes tasted great. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians though.- Drinks - Beer selection good, cocktail list great. Wine selection poor vs other island resorts. - Location - Very close to airport so you hear the odd plane but not too intrusive. A bit out of the way from main strip so you’ll need to take taxis quite regularly cost $5 each way. - Service - all staff really friendly - Ambience - But quiet as off peak. Beach bar dead, no one around after 10pm!!

Overall it was a nice stay. The reception staff are great, our room (the delux room) was lovely and the pool area is really nice. Sean, the customer relations manager was absolutely brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. A couple of things need improvement though. The overall cleanliness of the resort wasn’t the best, the public toilets weren’t very clean and there were dirty dishes and glasses left outside our room on top of the hedge for 2 days. We had to ask the staff to remove it even though a number of staff would have walked past it. Overall it’s an old looking complex which needs a deep clean and a refurbished. Also the breakfast variety was ok but it was often sparse when we got there (between 7-8) and we had to ask staff to bring some more items out.

Nice hotel with excellent facilities. The beach is the highlight with warm and clear water. Nice warm swimming pool. The villa style rooms are first class. The restaurant has beautiful view of the beach with nightly music and a variety of food choices. Kayak and bike are free to use. Free transportation from and to airport. The sunset is magnificent. A little bit far from town but there is a free shuttle.

The Mercury Villas is a terrific Hotel and then some. Their international staff members go well on and beyond to ensure that your stay there is more than you could hope for. Attentive and Knowledgable, I highly recommend this hotel. The water is clean, the swimming fantastic and the Margaritas are dandy. A truly fabulous experience.

We love it. The villa was nice and accomodation is excellent. Horel staff is very tentative. Hotel restuarant food was surprisingly good. Our villa pool clean and water is warm to swim. The kids really enjoy the private pool.

Das Personal war stets bemüht. Die Anlage ist schön und gepflegt. Das Meer ist sauber im gegensatz zum öffentlichen Strandabschnitt. Allerdings ist es nicht so karibisch wie auf den meisten Fotos. Dazu muss man doch weiter mit dem Taxi fahren.

Stayed 6 Nights, staff spoke multi languages, the hotel even put a Christmas Eve dinner together with turkey. All and all a very good resort.

Man merkt den Wechsel von Mercure zu Mercury. Der Service hat sich verschlechtert. Neben dem PR Manager sieht man kein Management und keine Supervision. Schade ! Die Leute sind willig, aber sie brauchen eine kompetente Führung. Die Eröffnung der Baach Bar war ein flopp. Nach 10 Tagen wegen Zu Geschlossen ! Die Küche war am ersten Tag nicht zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Bestellung fast unmöglich, da niemand Englisch sprach. Nachdem wir die Serviceverantwortlich, die wir von letztem Jahr kannten, antrafen, wurde unsere Mahlzeiten zu Festessen und die Küche war ausgezeichnet.

Villa was immaculately presented as was the main restaurant and grounds. The staff were very good and loved to try out their English. The front desk staff were really friendly and tried to accommodate our requests as much as possible. Staff was friendly and helpful. My mom and I loved our experience here and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

My husband and I had a wonderful time and we left feeling very relaxed and refreshed which is exactly what we were looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Of coz, cooking charges apply and you can definitely choose some fresh seafood in the local market, at half the price at the resort.

Nous avons passé 9 nuits dans cet Hotel. Il est très agréable et très propre. Au calme sur une belle plage. Il ne faut que 10 min en scooter ou en voiture pour rejoindre le centre-ville. Le personnel est très agréable et très souriant, par contre il ne faut pas être pressé quand on commande un cocktail, mais ç est les vacances!

We have been travelling to South East Asia and our trip to Phu Quoc was very memorable. Hotel is just the perfect location for those honeymooners. Very nice amenities and even a jacuzzi just outside my villa. Hotel and resort spotless but cant say that for the rest of the island.

Our stay at Mercure Resort has been very relaxing. Infinity pool with a bar in it, so you can sip of your mocktails in the pool which overlooks the beautiful beach. A big thanks to all the staff for helping make my friends wedding / honeymoon special and I know they spent an extra few nights themselves because they liked it so much.

The staff were all friendly and greeted you each time they passed. There service was excellent and they happily assisted with every need. Very well equipped rooms with high ceiling and outside terrace including a jacuzzi. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again when coming back to Phu Quoc.

Staff and service was excellent. Deluxe rooms all have their own outdoor spa and the private pool villas are amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here, and it is a matter of time before I come back here again, specially when it is new and not yet ruined by too ***y visitors.

Might be the best hotel and resort in Phu Quoc. Great access intoDown Town for a livelier atmosphere and more food options. The beach was swimmable while we were there and it was surprising how warm the water was in the sea. Breakfast was excellent with a mix of western food and Asian.

Stayed three nights, room was very nice and large with private outdoor hot tub. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The included buffet breakfast was very generous and delicious.

Hotel area with beautiful garden, beach and pool is very nice. There are always enough deck chairs available. Staff and management are very helpful and friendly. The water quality at the hotel beach was super crystal clear water. The location is great as the resort is quite in the middle of the island, it is not far to the city and to other restaurants.

The property was very private and relaxing. The staff were always cheerful and happy to assist with anything !

The night market in the capital (a short ride away) is a must. The staff were very helpful but there were not so ***y people there when I went so it often took a while to get anyones attention. The lobby and reception, as well as the outdoor facilities are top notch. Can not fault this hotel.

We would like to thank Chinh (the F&B ***ager) for helping us to make our experience in Phu Quoc so memorable. The resort is very near to the airport and they have free pickup and drop to the airport. The hotel provided a free shuttle service into Duong Dong Town thrice daily.

Schoene Zimmer, super Fruehstueck und toller Staff. Der Preis ist evtl ein bisschen zu hoch fuer den gebotenen Standard, aber das lag vielleicht auch an der Saison (Weihnachten)

Fantastic hotel with great pool...although gym was ordinary...the restaurant is ecellent on the beach serving very nice food at reasonable prices...mini mart was a fair wayy but they have a golf buggy that can take you...definitely worth staying here in one of their lovely villas surrounded by manicured gardens

We recommend this place for couples or families, not for people looking for a lively atmosphere. Service was very friendly from the start with the complimentary pick-up and all through the stay. We had a nice dinner and listened to their great band, who took requests for songs.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the airport, 5 mn drive (complementary transfer is provided). You can hear and see the planes landing/taking off, but only a few times a day and not a nuisance at all. Chek-in and check-out were fast, staff at the reception is very nice and helpful. English is not so good though (same for the staff at the restaurant), so if you have any not so regular request the communication may become a bit difficult. There is a foreign guests ***ager who is usually around and can help if needed, he is very nice and welcoming to everyone, and can give good advice regarding what to visit on the island and day trips. the resort is in the middle of beautiful gardens, with small bungalows and villas. Our room was very big and clean, with a small private Jacuzzi and terrace, very nice. Comfortable huge bed, good aircon. The bathroom was a bit small compared to the size of the room. The beach in front of the hotel is nice and quite clean (could be cleaner though), same for the sea. The hotel provides kayaks (free) if you feel like trying, which is quite fun ! We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, there are ***y comfortable sunbathing beds around the pool and on the beach, towels are provided also. The pool is big enough to swim, even if not so deep, and there is a separated safe small pool for children. the hotel is not so close from the city, there is a free shuttle bus twice a day, and you can also take a taxi for 4 or 5 USD. We went once downtown for shopping and lunch, but we did not find it that enjoyable, and actually we spent the rest of our stay (4 days) without leaving the resort ! Mercury is the perfect place if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and relaxing holiday. If you want to go out and party every evening, you may look for a hotel closer to the city. As there is not a single restaurant walking distance to the hotel, we had all our meals at the hotel restaurant, it is a bit pricey but still reasonable, and the food is really very good (same for the breakfast buffet). You have to wait quite a long time to get your dishes, but after all you are on holidays ! we enjoyed a lot the music band every evening, the 3 singers are very good (especially the male singer) and seem to really enjoy being there and sharing with the audience. You are also welcome to send song requests and have your children sing a song on the stage if they wish ! I think the resort is rated 4 stars (or 5), there are a few small things that can be improved to really meet the standards : staff training and communication/English skills, attention to details (we felt that the resort was not that well maintained and some places could be cleaner - like empty plastic bottles or plastic caps left under the sunbathing beds by the pool or on the beach), also it was a bit strange that ***y amenities/brochures/menu are still under the previous Mercure brand. A very nice touch was to give us a "breakfast box" when we left, as we had a very early flight in the morning, we checked out at 5am and the kitchen has prepared some sandwiches for us to take away, which was a kind surprise very much appreciated. All together it was a great relaxing stay in a beautiful resort, if we come back to Phu Quoc island we＇ll definitely stay there again !

We arrive late to the NYE party as the traffic in Saigom was so awful we missed the flight. Our stay was for six days so we got a real good feel for the facility & island. The breakfast setup (not so much the food choice) and the pool are my most favorite. Certainly they could not understand some of my questions and I needed to repeat myself in Vietnamese to get my message across.

Nothing to do or see nearby, dirty adjacent beaches, Not the best shower. Very nice and helpful staff, good restaurant, nice pool, exclusive atmosphere, great bed.

Horrible hotel to stay at, toilet did not work the whole time we were there. Pool was filthy as filter was broken, maintenance workers refused to work during the day and turned up unannounced to fix it and would only do it at night time while my son was sleeping which woke him because of the noise they were making
