This is my return stay after my last trip in Seoul 5 years ago. The hotel is keeping up the good conditions of the property by refurbished it without you notice it. They still keep the good customer service. Location is superb with metro station walking distant nearby and eatery restaurant and 7-11 with Starbucks attached. The room comes with individual controlled air conditioning/ heater, and a humidifier as well. Please prepare your own international travel plug. I got the most basic room although the room space is with limited furniture but you have no worries as they provided a baggage stand and an organiser. Free coffee and tea in the room also at 2nd floor common area with a microwave as well. As usual, after so many years from 8 years ago I know about this hotel from a friend, i still continue to recommend others for it.

The room is quite spacious for us to put 3 big 32” luggages, few hand-carry ons and 1 baby stroller. The bed is smaller than usual Queen size but comfy for 2 adults and 1 toddler to rest on. Throughout our 13-days’ accommodation, the room wasn’t make up (totally NO vacuuming of carpet at all) as the small rubbish like few pieces of small tissues & paper torn by my mischievous girl weren’t picked up for cleanliness, though the beverages and toiletries were duly replenished daily. I really hope the chambermaids will do their jobs conscientiously next time I stay in this hotel. I love their in-house shampoo (Skinzen) so much because it’s very fragrant and gives a zest of full energy after showering. Overall I think this hotel is still awesome because of its strategic location in myeongdong and super super near (within 1 min walking distance only) to the Euljiro-1-ga station. And there’s also a lift (elevator) which is so useful and convenient for parents like us with a stroller. Travelling is a breeze as mentioned the mrt is just within stones throw away. I would recommend to tourists who want to stay in myeongdong and it’s quite a popular hotel for local Singaporeans as we met so many of them during breakfast so it’s kind of cosy, nice and heartwarming to meet fellow citizens in another country. Breakfast selections are quite good & tasty, the servings are appropriate for each guest. Dish selections will be changed on a daily basis except the usual bread & butter remained.

For a reasonably priced hotel, this place was quite a surprise. Its fairly new with modern design and furnishings. Very clean, very conveniently located with easy access to public transit and close by the major tourist sights. Just a block away from the Myeongdong outdoor street market with an incredible selection of street foods and vendors. Excellent shopping and dining in the area. The staff is friendly and fairly English proficient, though some are better than others. The breakfast buffet is convenient with a light, but manageable, selection. A 7-Eleven is right downstairs.

We stayed for 7 nights and the location was great!! right in the heart of Myeongdong, just at the doorsteps of Euljiro-1(il)ga station (Line2) connecting straight to all main attractions and Gangnam. there’s a Starbucks, 7eleven and a korean BBQ restaurant connected in the hotel lobby itself. will definitely be the place to stay whenever we’re back in Seoul.

Location was fantastic. It was only 2 minutes away from euljiro 1-ga subway station’s elevator. Plenty of eateries and shops nearby but yet was not noisy. Having a convenience store store next door was great; we bought food from there for breakfast if we did not want to go out. There was a family room with coffee and water dispenser. Hotel was clean. Will definitely book the hotel again.

Great location in heart of Myeondong shopping area. Fuss-free hotel. Family room with 2 double beds. Good forn2 adults and 2 kids. But with 6 lugguages in the room, plus all the winter clothings, can get quite cramp and messy. Great with more hanging hooks and hangers

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is located right in the center of Myeongdong street food /cosmetic market. Downstairs is a Starbucks and 7-Eleven store. The restroom was clean which is a big pet peeve of mine. When I booked the hotel I got a good deal on the included breakfast which was also good. The only area of improvement would be the bed it was a little too stiff and small. I am not sure if that was due to the specific room.

We had a fantastic time staying in Metro Hotel at Seoul. Really conveniently located for the metro, and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful (shout out to Joe!), seamless check-in and were able to recommend tasty nearby restaurants. The hotel has a Starbucks and a 7Eleven attached too. Our room was spacious, very clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need.We will definitely stay at Metro next tie we visit Seoul!

Very good location and this is my second time to stay. Security guard is polite and helpful too. Room is clean and spacious. Highly recommended for friends to stay :) next time I go Seoul will definitely book this hotel again !

I love everything about this place. Close to metro station and myeondong shopping street.

Great service and excellent room & amenities. The hotel is right near the Myeongdong shopping district and a short walk to the city hall and several places of interest. 2 minutes walk from the subway stop. Theres ambient city sounds in the morning so light sleepers be advised.

Hotel is ay the end of meyondong, metro accessible? Lots of restaurants, shops, stores, staff extremely friendly help u out the whole time, room little small but according the price, I’ll defo come back

Das Hotelzimmer ist sehr sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag sauber gereinigt. Im Zimmer befindet sich ein Handy mit internet was man mit nach draußen nehmen kann. Die details im Zimmer z.b. WC mit Dusche oder beheizter Spiegel haben mir sehr gut gefallen.

The room is very small, noisy and outdated air conditioning/heating system, also noisy from the outside. However, the hotel location is centralized with plenty of shops and restaurant within walking distance. Convenient to transportation.

Die Lage ist perfekt; mitten drin und doch ruhig. Das Personal ist engagiert und extrem freundlich. Das einzige Manko ist, dass die Zimmer etwas klein und hellhörig sind. Aber wenn man das vermeiden will, muss man wohl auch mehr zahlen. Ansonsten top!!

First trip to Korea and wanted to stay in Myeongdong because it is the best place to be. Tons of shopping and restaurants. Very comfortable for foreigners too as there are many western restaurants in the immediate area if you are unwilling to try Korean food. The hotel is beyond wonderful and offered breakfast even though we didnt include that with our reservation. Breakfast is different each morning and offers Korean and western options. The staff is immensely friendly and most speak perfect English if you are ever having trouble understanding something. Our room was incredibly comfortable, but the only thing was it did not have a view. We unfortunately were on the side facing another building, but probably could have asked for one. Would absolutely go back.
