긴 역사를 가진 경북대학교 의과대학은 대한민국의 대표 의과대학 중 하나이다. 훌륭한 교수진과 뛰어난 학생들이 밤낮으로 연구와 의학도의 길을 걷기에 어둠이 내린 한밤중에도 불이 꺼지지 않는다.현재 칠곡에 칠곡 경북대학교 병원이 신설되며 경북의대 신관도 설치되어, 장기적으로 의과대학으로써의 기능은 칠곡으로 전부 이전될 예정.현 의과대학의 붉은 건물은 일제강점기에 지어져 현재까지 유지되는 역사적인 건물 중 하나에 속한다.Kyungpook national medical university is one of the best medical schools in South Korea that has a long history. With excellent professors and amazing students working on experiments and studying for their medical knowledge day and night, the lights never goes off even during the latest hours when the deep darkness falls at night.With the new construction of another hospital in Chilgok, a new campus has been built next to it as well. Eventually all the medical school functions will move to that location in the long term.The current medical school building which is built with red bricks are from the Japans colonization era and has both archetectural and historical significance.
