Such a terrible hostel ever. 침대 시트와 이불엔 머리카락이 있었고 인포메이션이 2층에 있는데 1층으로 세기에 사실상 배정받은 층보다 1층 더 올라가야해서 계단 오르내리기 너무 힘듭니다. 엘리베이터는 화물용이라 무조건 계단으로 다녀야합니다. 방 안의 샤워부스안에 화장실이 마련되었습니다. 제가 배정받은 방은 창문도 없어서 정말 답답했습니다. 싸게 하루 묵고가려고 예약했지만 정말 가족들이 다 도착하자마자 탄식만 뱉었습니다. 조식 포함이라고 했지만 실상 잼같은것도 없이 빵쪼가리만 있었습니다.

He just opened the door using his master key when I was sleeping at 7am.아침 7시에 자고 있는데 그냥 열쇠로 문따서 문을 열어버리네요.경찰에 신고하려다 계속 실수라고 주장하고 사과하시길래 말았습니다. 그런데 지금 다른 리뷰들 보니 체크인된 방 청소시간도 아닌데 문 연게 한두번이 아니네요.

Likes:The location was good and easy to travel around Seoul. Feels more local than tourist in this area near Chungmuro. Dislikes:Overpriced, no room cleaning, no proper hotel reception, unable to contact the owner in case of any problem, language problem, no room heater but only bed heater which is not mentioned in the Facilities, and no room service. Needs to throw all trash by your own!It was a proper HOSTEL and not a HOTEL.Do not expect much but was a decent choice for a last minute booking.

Very modest, non expensive way to stay in Seoul. Close to bus stations and to most attractions. Why spend money in a hotel when I just needed to sleep.

There seems to be a lot to do nearby. The place has excellent location to everything. I called the receptionist who quickly send an engineer. The best feature is the convenience. There was fast internet throughout the hotel. Minutes walking to Myeongdong shopping district. Will definitely stay there again next year.

Hotel is surrounded with ***y good restaurants. Room is clean though small. Service: The owner was nice. The location is safe even for solo female travellers. There is a washing machine at the top floor that can be used at anytime during the day. I would consider returning here again.

The hostel owner tried his best to help us arrange an extra night of staying since we booked one night less, we are thankful for that. cleanliness is good, with all basic facilities available. only downside is the room is a but small, our big suitcases cannot be opened flat on the ground, and theres not place to walk after that. otherwise, its a fair hostel in a good location. if you are looking for a convenient place to stay, clean and tidy, it may be a good choice.

Its worst experience. The photos that they use in the hotel.com is misleading, they using other building photo. Cheater.. Its totally not hotel.. Its hostel.. Their service is bad. Not allow to eat in the room but the eating room at level 5 which no lift.. Every inch of the area with cctv eventhough at in front from our room.. Scary.. No toiletries provided.. Hotel.com should not promote this hotel.. Because they are not honest

Host was very accomodating and helped to get a can early in the morning. Location of guesthouse is near chungmuro and its easy to find. However one downside is that there were many rules and restrictions set, and they had to be strictly adhered to.

I saw this room on a hostel website but rather booked here because the price was cheaper. Firstly, on the hostel website the location is exactly the same but I assure you that its not the same place. The entrance doesnt even look the same. And the room not even closed. The first day there, the owner went into my room without my permission or me being present. I felt like my privacy was invaded. The room was also right across the office and people knocked on my door in the middle of the night to check in because he wasnt there. He also allowed some sort of alarm to ring on the first floor till you wake up. At least thats what I think, because this thing is so loud and it kept ringing for minutes and when I finally went out to see what was going on it stopped. Theres a minimum 24C limit on the air conditioning, and the room is very humid... Towels given are not proper size, you need to use like three when you take a shower. And lastly, the bed was terribly hard. I had back pain that I could barely stand and get dressed.I dont know if Ill book here again. He only takes cash and even though its cheap and convenient it was unpleasant and I dreaded every moment.

It is the worst place ever. Its not as described AT ALL. The place is advertised as a hotel however when you arrive theres a sign saying that its a Hostel (even on the map it says its a hostel). This is misleading advertisement ! The place is A LOT smaller than in the pictures and is not as clean as shown. The bathroom is small and the toilet got clogged after 2 uses.. the manager of the HOSTEL was inappropriately dressed when greeting us (he was only in his underwear). He didnt even give us proper service !! Made me walk up and down with the key cause he himself was too lazy to do so himself. No breakfast is provided. Overall HORRIBLE experience and would NOT recommend at all !

We spent 5nights and it was very homy and convenient near Chungmuro station, about 550m to Myeongdong Cathedral and the shopping area. Near Namsangol Hanok Village (350m) However, u need to explicitly request for room make up. Towels are changed everyday. You have to request for lower floor as there is no elevator. You will be very exhausted using stairs after a day strolling.Bfast is a simple toast,coffee,juice,egg but you will cook the eggs urself. Overall, we had a great time staying and will come again.

The location is super strategic. We arrived around 1pm and our room was ready. We were given a tour of the area for recommended local places to eat. Host is very very friendly But with strict rules and regulations stated upon check-in. Limited English but we were able to get messages across.

Après un séjour de deux semaines en Corée du Sud et de nombreux hôtels, nous avons atteri dans cet hôtel. Limage des escaliers neufs diffusés sur le site correspond en réalité à létablissement se situant en face de cet hôtel.Nous devions initialement séjourner 3 nuits mais après une 1ère nuit catastrophique nous avons décidé de quitter les lieux pour notre sécurité. Lhôtel est un ancien bâtiment délabré sans ascenseur, on nous a attribué la chambre 204, une chambre dans un piteux état, recouverte de cadavres de moustiques et de tâches douteuses. Des poils et un lavabo cassé composent la petite salle de bain. Un sèche cheveux cassé était à notre disposition mais nous avons préféré le laisser là où il était. Létat des draps nous a obligé à recouvrir le lit de mouchoirs et a dormir habillé (vous imaginez la nuit...)Cet hôtel est de loin le pire des cinq dans lesquels nous avons séjourné sachant que nous sommes loin dêtre difficile.En quittant lhôtel le responsable nous a proposé une autre chambre mais nous avons refusé de rester plus longtemps dans ce lieu. Nayant pas encore était payé par Expédia, il nous a conseillé de nous faire rembourser directement par Expédia sachant quil ne serait apparement pas payé pour les deux nuits restantes, nous attendons actuellement une réponse...Nous sommes parvenu tant bien que mal à trouvé un GuestHouse pas bien loin (Kguesthouse myeongdong 1, prestation pas au niveau dun hôtel mais qui nous a parfaitement convenue)

Convenient location and clean hotel room, but room we stayed in is rather constrained. Friendly boss too. Overall a good place to bunk in given the price to pay.

No daily room cleaning. Only 1 toilet roll, 1 soap and 2 tiny tooth paste packs provided for 2 persons to use for 6 nights. Need to request to ask for more or otherwise not given. Plenty of rules and regulations impose by the owner operator. No shoes permitted inside the room even if you take it off. Shower head and the sink tap share the same pipe and can only be used one at a time. No floor mat provided from shower area and if the shower floor is wet, you may wet the floor of the room. If you clean your wet feet with the small towel provided, you may stain the towel and that would be a breach of the house rules i.e. no stains. Room not sound proof. Breakfast consist of cold bread from the fridge which you may toast yourself and bottled orange juice in the fridge. The hostel does not have provide any free map of its location and its nearby surroundings. If needed, owner operator will help print from google map in korean. No english movie channels.

Overall the stay was quite good.. Good location.. Walking distance to Myeongdong. But the owner has too many of rules..

It was worth the price however we were given a different room from our reservation on the first 2 nights.

The official check-in started at 2:30pm and we arrived at 3:15pm, but no one is answering the door. We waited in the cold weather for over 30 mins and kept ringing the door bell until some other residents opened the door for us. No bed sheets changing and insufficient towel supply during our stay. Rooms are separated with thin wooden boards only, we can hear other people talking, staff cleaning and people walking up-and-down on the stairs. Dirty slippers...Male staff attitude was so rude and impolite, he speaks poor English. There was a huge communication difficulty between us.On check-out day we were a bit late(official check-out time 10:30am, we left at 10:40am). While we were packing up stuffs as fast as we could, the male staff just bursted in right after knocking! What if there was a lady changing and she was naked!? Really unacceptable!We wont go there ever again and not to mention recommend it to a friend.

Host is extremely friendly, spent quite a while walking around the neighbourhood to show me around. The building itself is extremely well located - subway is a 2 minute walk and lots of great restaurants around.

It was good overall as it is accessible anywhere except for the AC that is not working good, mosquitoes inside the room.

The owner said that Hotels.com didnt sent him an email of my booking but he tried to give me a room but it was different from what Ive reserved.

Double room for 4 days. small but good enough if you like something easy. room and bath with shower is clean. check in and check out very uncomplicated.
