Very good service and great location. However, I would not recommend it for couples looking for a relaxing weekend. The whole weekend the pool was full of kids playing (so we could not use it) and what is worst, due to the location of the pool, the noise reaches the bedrooms.

The best hotel in the area in my opinion. Location location location I can’t say enough on how central this beautiful hotel is. It was a few steps away from the main central hub. Perfect in every way. If you’re not sure where to stay: STAY HERE

We loved this hotel. Located in the center of Guanajuato. Walking distance to everything. The personnel were amazing. Helpful, attentive, courteous, and pleasant. I will forever recommend this hotel. We are definitely booking it again when we go to Guanajuato. It is so impressive that we booked an extra night.

Our family stay was amazing, from the check in to check out everybody was very friendly and their customer service was excellent. We never had any issues or complains, we felt very confortable staying at Edelmira Hotel.

The entire property was beautiful and clean. They are very attentive and polite. The breakfast was good. I recommend the chilaquiles verdes. Hotel is near everything. Will definitely come back and here when I am in Guanajuato again.

The location is good but the place is really not good. I booked 2 rooms with separate bed, we didn’t get any of that. The pictures on expedia were totally different. The bedroom was very dusty and bedsheets suspicious. We couldn’t open the windows. A place i would not recommend

It was the perfect combination of rustic and contemporary chick look for a property! The room was spacious and comfortable. The property is perfectly located in the middle of everything you want to experience in Guanajuato! I will be staying here again in the near future!

Should not be part of the gold rewards program. Was not greeted and acknowledged for my status. Was not welcomed with our free beverages. Was not advised about breakfast. Finally upon asking they told me about breakfast, nothing else. Breakfast, food was good. Service was terrible took over an hour to order and eat. Overall for the most expensive hotel in Guanajuato they are lacking significantly in many 4 star staples.

When we checked in, we felt we chose wrong hotel due to lack of hospitality by clerk. However finally we found Amazing roof top space and comfortable room and bed. We thought she would be better to introduce all the guests about rooftop at least.

Although location is very convenient, there are other options in the area. Check in was inefficient and unfriendly. They had an disorganized pile of hard copies of the reservations and weren’t finding ours. We were asked when did we make ours (for no reason), finally after I insisted and show them the booking they found it. The room was ran down, terrace did’t open as they lost the key, and one time we came back the room at 4PM to rest, it wasn’t ready. Parking is supposedly free, but they only clarify at the desk that is at a different hotel outside the city.

Very cute boutique hotel with an amazing staff. I mean, the service was literally perfect. Fatimah was so gracious and made us feel welcomed each morning for breakfast. The splash pool was heated and just big enough. The decor was well done in common areas (timeless elegance) and breakfast was worth an early rise. The room furniture was a bit tired (hard bed) but otherwise worthy of a 4 star rating. The only drawback would be the bar next door which could be heard well until 2am each night. Id definitely return, perhaps in a room not bordering the bar.

Location fantastic, nice looking interior that fit with the town, pretty good free breakfast. The jacuzzi however did not get very hot, that should be fixed.The price i paid was $180 a night, which was way too much for this hotel, it must have been due to the races that weekend. If you can get the hotel for around $100 a night it would be worth it

Modern hotel, comfortable mattress, clean and great location. Did not like care for receptionist asking my guest how many people were staying in the room. Which led to delay checking out because she left confusing notes about additional fees. I should not have incurred fees as my guest paid them when the receptionist initially asked her at check in. I would have preferred she raised the issue with me to avoid confusion and my guest paying.

La verdad pongan fotos de la realidad de los cuartos estas fotos no se asemejan a lo que es la realidad una tomada de pelo la alberca menos el agua congelada pague el hotel y me salí a las 4 horas

Guanajuato est une ville coloniale magnifique du Mexique. Les gens sont charmants la ville est très sécuritaire nombreux musées à visiter . La ville se marche facilement à pied les transports ex: taxi sont à prix fixe. Les restaurants sont nombreux et excellent et à très bon prix. Lhôtel Edelmira est un hôtel Tesoros c.à.d. plus quun 5 étoiles puisquil est dans un édifice inscrit au patrimoine mondial datant des années 1800. Il appartenait à la classe supérieure du Mexique avant la révolution. Magnifiquement rénové tout en ayant gardé son caractère dorigine.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Verwirrung bzgl. dem im Preis inbegriffenen Frühstück. Offenbar bietet das Hotel nur noch Frühstück gegen Aufpreis an (Standard). Dieser Standard hat sich gemäss Aussage des Hotels bei den Hotelanbietern (wie Hotels.com) noch nicht etabliert, so dass bei der Ankunft Verwirrung herrscht. Bitte klären und Kunden nicht damit belasten!!!
