Trip to Cancun and our stay at the Omni Cancun was nothing short of fabulous! The room was spotless and the dining areas as well. This was my second visit this year and again the pool entertainment was relaxing and fun. Manuel, at the pool bar was very attentive and friendly. He made the best White Russian drinks! We again enjoyed karaoke night and volleyball on the beach and in the pool. All of the staff were highly attentive ad the resort is beautiful. I will be returning soon!

We loved the all inclusive feature. The view was beautiful and convienently located. The room was very nice and clean. The staff were extremely great and went over the top to please the guests. The Covid testing process was very easy, which was important to us. The vacation club sales pitch was annoying as it wasnt worth the money. None of the hot tubs were even remotely hot-they were at best what you expect average pool temperatures to be. The pools were cold-unheated. There was only one restaurant for dinner each night besides room service so food choices were limited. The food was fairly good except for the buffet nights which were average. Shout out to David who helped us set up the Omni app and book our excursion to Chichen Itzo and Tony who was one of the wait staff!

Our stay was amazing based on the price that we paid. The staff was amazing, the service folks were beyond polite and accommodating, and if any issue arose, they did a good job solving it. The view was priceless and the beach breath taking. The restaurant Manager on Duty, Fernando, was a super man. We had a group of 26 people and he was able to get us seating every night. Overall we are happy with the experience. My only complain is for Travelocity for not communicating clearly the condition of the hotel due to some recent hurricanes and the COVID. Some of the restaurants were closed, these were the important ones, such as Brazilian Steakhouse. Travelocity needs to do a better job setting proper expectations so the hotel doesnt get bad review.

The work staff was amazing. Very welcoming and great hospitality. Jorge and Orlando were amazing bartenders. Definitely feel that all staff here make you feel at home. From the beginning of the stay to the end I noticed every worker always had a smile on their face. Definitely will be back to this fine location.

Beautiful spot on the beach and awesome facilities. Would have been nice to have more options as far as food beings Covid has affected how everything works and taking that into consideration all in all it was a really good time. Staff was excellent and very helpful I would defiantly recommend this resort especially when there back in full swing

This is not the first time I have stayed at the Omni and I really loved it. The only problem I could say is the beds are too hard. Extremely too hard! Service was fabulous and grounds were beautiful.

Don’t do it. They can be sleazy and tell you one thing in person and change their minds when you’re back home. They’ll try to sucker you into buying a time share. That takes up like 2 hours of your vacation and it’s just not worth the time. Trust me on this one.Also, food selection during Covid sucks. Definitely seems like they were running low on food and would serve us sparingly. Drinks had little alcohol and left you wanting something more. Hopefully they take the money they stole from us and put it to good use and improve their food/drink options. Overall, don’t recommend. Plenty of other resorts to chose from.

My wife and I stayed December 2020.Positive things -Welcoming was awesome, every employee at the hotel was wearing their mask and they would check your temperature whenever entering hotel.- Room was great only issue we found a lizard on our room.-Internet would come and go ,but we mostly watch tv.- It was at a great location, close to beach , had a convenience store right at the entrance of the hotel and across the street they had a pharmacy. Bus stop was across the street also , so it was awesome to be able to take the bus only for $1.00 each per ride. The negative things- Pool water was cold , we could only go into the Jacuzzi and it wasnt even hot it was just warm.-Service was slow, we had to wait a lot for our buffet and a la carte dinner, but I do know that because of COVID they are short on staff.-Making reservations was hard( we had to use the app) one of the employees told us that we had to make reservations with a day of notice so we werent able to eat dinner the day we arrived , only at the buffet and it was really limited , but again maybe it was because of covid.-Buffet was really slow and only limited food, they would serve you really small portions. -Minibar, the minibar was good they would give you water, sodas, and beer, but the lady who would come to fill up the minibar would only knock twice and enter so it was a little bit awkward also I asked her to give me an extra sprite and she said I had one so I was ok I did not need one.

Beautiful property. Limited dining due to Covid but none the less still options and food was good. The only thing we did not like was having to use the app for everything. When I go on vacation, the last thing I want is to have to carry my phone with me everywhere we go. You are forced to use the app as your door key, to view restaurant menus, schedule services at the spa, etc.

Stayed for 5 nights - Everything was great. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. We were able to get a king size overlooking the ocean. The refrigerator was stocked everyday with water. They had 2 restaurants that were open all the time but the other 2 were only open on certain days. Overall the food was good. I stayed by the beach the whole time. I don’t like crowds by the pool. The only problem with the beach is the vendors walking up and down all day trying to sell stuff. They put on a different shows every night of the week for the guests which was nice. The gym was decent and clean. I would definitely go back.

This was the second time we had been to this property. Since we had such a great experience the first time, we thought we would go back during Covid and to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Hurricane Zeta hit the day we got there which was no fault of Cancun. We knew it would take a few days to clean up. We noticed there was maybe not even 1/3 of the staff due to Covid. The buffet was the only thing that had a consistent opening with very very limited selections. The food quality was very poor. They have a sushi bar and taco Café. They were opened every day when we were there before but this time only once while we were there. They did have an Italian restaurant that we ate at twice, but the food again was not top-notch. We also had problems in our room with a toilet in the shower. Also, there was no one to bring you drinks or fruit by the pool or down by the ocean. We had to go and get those up by the other pool and we waited over an hour sometimes to get lunch food. I myself took a bad fall one night coming back from the café down by the ocean. It had rained really hard again no fault of their‘s but I slipped coming into the lobby flat on my back and hit my head pretty good. There were two gentlemen that came to try or didn’t even try to assist me. Not even the hotel management came. Good thing I was not hurt bad but pretty sore now after getting home. Not even to check in on me the day after. We definitely will not be back to this property at the Omni.

Disappointed in the food it was not good at all, also very disappointed in how they linger you in with discounted activities and say “oh we will just be giving you a tour of the hotel” when really they are down your throat about signing up with other travel agencies, trust me if I wanted a travel agency I would have looked for one on my own so Lilly and her manger (whom I didn’t catch his name but younger guy w/glasses) total jerk. Therefore I will not be returning to this resort nor recommending it
